Description of the Project

To carry out this coastal marine project, associated with the construction of a new 1,400-MW power station, successfully, major marine-related resources were mobilized, including a barge equipped with a 300-tonne crane and a cutter dredger.

Work done and added value of our solution

On this Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Installation (EPCI) project, Geocean built four water-intake lines equipped with suction heads, four hot-water discharges, underground large-diameter fibreglass pipes, and a heavy-fuel import terminal (consisting of an offloading buoy and 2 submarine pipes 2.25 kilometres long and 24 inches in diameter).
