Works progress of our Egyptian Project – Phase 1
Preparations before plant shutdown are ongoing under the Egyptian sun.
GEOCEAN is finishing the welding of 6 sections of HDPE pipe, diameter 2500mm for a total linear of 580m (2x15m, 2x115m & 2x160m). The 6 lines will shortly be finalized and hydro tested (water filling and pressure test). At the same time, the installation of the sheet piles (900m linear) is being finished to ensure the stability of the trenches during the works.
The plant shutdown should start at the end of October in order to replace the old GRP pipes with the new HDPE pipes.
