Salé – Morocco Project

GEOCEAN has been awarded in October 2017 with its partners SOMAGEC & ETERMAR for the construction of an ocean waste water outfall in Salé, Morocco.

Progress status of the project:

  • Trenching/dredging & rock blasting completed at the end of June 2018
  • OD 1,8m HDPE pipes in great length of 1,800m successfully installed early September 2018

The offshore operations are currently in stand-by but will restart early April 2019 during the good weather window.

The remaining offshore operations are:

  • MTBM recovery
  • Tunnel flooding
  • Spool piece metrology, fabrication & connection
  • Trench backfilling
  • Diffusers installation
