🎬 Wilhelmshaven FSRU Project: A successfully completed offshore challenge

We are proud to share the recap video of our contribution to the floating LNG terminal (FSRU) in Wilhelmshaven. This project realised in collaboration with ECOnnect involved installing the jettyless IQuay infrastructure and pipelines connecting the FSRU Excelsior directly to the German grid.This strategic project has enabled Germany to secure and diversify its liquefied natural gas (LNG) supply, highlighting the essential role of FSRU infrastructure in the energy transition.

From the conversion of a bare barge into a “fast flex” installation vessel to the deployment of ECOnnect’s IQuay F-Class, every operation showcased Geocean’s expertise in installing offshore gas terminal infrastructure.
